I am always on the hunt for multitasking products that are good for my skin and improve my complexion. I have been a fan of Olay products for many years and have enjoyed using their Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Face Cream. When they introduced their Whips Moisturizer Collection, I didn’t immediately purchase any of them because I figured they were light-weight gel moisturizers, and I don’t really love the texture of gel moisturizers. I regret waiting because once I discovered Olay Regenerist Whip, I haven’t been without out it since.
There are three varieties of Olay Whips moisturizers: Regenerist, Total Effects and Luminous, with all formulas transforming from cream to liquid once applied and offering shine-free and light as air finishes.
Regenerist Whips target wrinkles with its Amino-Peptide Complex II for improved elasticity and firmness. Total Effects Whips contains Vitamins C and E and offers 7 benefits while targeting moisture, skin tone, brightness, fine lines, minimizing the appearance of pore size, firmness, and dark spots. Luminous Whips offers radiance without shine. It is formulated to reduce the appearance of pores while brightening and hydrating your skin.

Olay Regenerist Whip
I purchased Olay Regenerist Whip moisturizer since I’ve had such good results with Olay’s Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. The Active Rush Technology which helps transform the cream into a liquid does so quickly because I noticed immediately that the cream sunk right into my skin and really did leave a matte shine-free finish.
The matte finish was a game-changer for me. This fact alone allows me to wear Regenerist Whip both at night and during the day under my makeup. It also doubles as a primer when you wear it under makeup and it does not pill.
There are a few other moisturizers that offer a matte finish, but no other moisturizer leaves my skin as soft, smooth and primed for makeup like Olay Regenerist Whip. It feels almost as if there is a blurring effect which helps to smooth out the appearance of those pesky fine lines and wrinkles. I imagine that Regenerist Whip would be great for someone with oily skin. It smoothes, moisturizes and balances your skin so effortlessly.

Olay Luminous Whip
Since I loved Olay Regenerist Whips so much, I purchased both Luminous Whips and Total Effects Whips. I found Olay Luminous Whip very similar to Regenerist Whip with an added slight luminosity. Luminous Whip would be better for day use since I am not looking for a glow or luminosity while I sleep.

Olay Total Effects Whip
Olay Total Effects Whip was pleasant but the scented variety was a bit strong for me. While it was a nice moisturizer, it didn’t provide the same lush matte finish that I finally found in Regenerist Whip.
All three Whip products are available in SPF 25 and non-SPF versions. I am sensitive to chemical sunscreens, so I stick with the non-SPF version of these products.
I will sometimes layer Regenerist Whip on top of other thicker moisturizers. This way, I still get the benefit of a matte finish in addition to its wonderful priming effect. I am thrilled that this holy grail moisturizer is reasonably priced. This is currently one product that I will always have on hand this summer and do not want to live without!
