It’s that time of year again! Sephora’s bi-annual Beauty Insider Savings Event is around the corner, which means that their catalog of beauty products will be on sale, from skincare and makeup to haircare and fragrance.

So if you’re thinking, “when is the next Sephora sale” you’ve come to the right place. Today I’ll discuss all the details of the Sephora VIB sale, the dates, and Sephora promo code required for the sale, plus my absolute favorite picks and recommendations.

The Sephora Spring 2023 VIB (Very Important Beauty Insider) Sale is coming, and shopping dates are classified based on your Beauty Insider member status:

You may be wondering how these Beauty Insider statuses are determined.

You become a Sephora Rouge Member when you spend $1,000 or more during the calendar year, a Sephora VIB Member when you spend at least $350 during the calendar year, and you can become a Sephora Beauty Insider simply by signing up!

Each level of rewards has its own perks. While all levels have access to a Sephora birthday gift and can shop Sephora’s Rewards Bazaar, VIBs and Sephora Rouge members receive special discounts and offers throughout the year.

The Sephora spring sale is not applicable on certain brands (unfortunately, The Ordinary is one of those brands), and there are purchase limitations on some products.

Now, onto the good stuff. While many of my favorite skincare products come from the drugstore, there are a few favorites that I purchase at Sephora.

Since these items are a bit expensive, now is the time to take advantage of the discount.

It exfoliates dead skin cells to reveal fresh, radiant skin.

Plus, it can plump fine lines and wrinkles in as little as three minutes. I reluctantly splurge for this all-in-one retexturizer, skin brightening and skin smoother, and the Sephora sale is the best time to purchase it.

If you’re not ready to pay for the full size, they have a smaller 0.5 oz bottle that’s more affordably priced.

NOTE: I usually gravitate to drugstore skincare since there are some really great affordable and effective products available at drugstore prices.

The FDA-cleared device improves facial and neck contour and skin tone. The Eye and Lip Enhancer (ELE) attachment improves contour around the lips, eyes, and brows.

I see the best results when I use the ELE attachment around my eyes.

Take The Day Off removes makeup, sunscreen, grease, and dirt easily and melts into skin with its lightweight texture.

I love cleansing balms, so it didn’t take long for me to give this one a try, and I see what all the fuss is about.

Some cleansing balms are greasy, but not this one.

It doesn’t irritate sensitive areas around your eyes and rinses cleanly. It’s not the cheapest cleansing balm, so it’s good to take advantage of the discount during the Sephora sale.

Sephora Makeup Favorites

If you didn’t already know, my content leans heavily toward skincare, but there are a handful of makeup products from Sephora that I just love:

The Silk Canvas is formulated with silk extracts to reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines, and other imperfections. It’s the ideal base for makeup.

It allows your foundation and other products to be applied more evenly while preventing clogged pores which can lead to breakouts.

Hadasei-3 (Japanese superfoods green tea, rice, and algae) rejuvenates the skin and improves luminosity.

A thin application of this primer provides that soft filter look while protecting your skin from environmental aggressors and supporting the skin barrier.

This product is a bridge between your skin and makeup that supports a healthy complexion. From the scent to the gorgeous packaging, this luxe product is gorgeous.

Tatcha also offers the sister product of The Silk Canvas, The Liquid Silk Canvas: Featherweight Protective Primer, an oil-free liquid primer, which I like, too.

Both of these primers boost my makeup’s staying power and protect my skin.

It is buildable and feels quite lightweight even though it covers so well. It is available in over 55 shades in cool, neutral, and warm undertones. I wear shade 2C3 Fresco, which has a Cool, Rosy undertone, shown above.

When I first discovered Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup, it was a revelation for me. I’d never used a foundation that stays put all day and is so long-wearing.

Perfect for oily skin, the foundation sets quickly, so I’ve learned to use tools like a foundation brush or damp makeup sponge to apply it.

The extra effort is worth it for flawless oil-free full coverage.

It is a buildable medium coverage foundation that has won InStyle’s Best Beauty Buy award-winner for “Best Liquid Foundation” for 13 years in a row.

I’ve seen Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation on InStyle’s best of beauty list for years.

I finally decided to give it a try, and now I know why it has so many fans. This foundation provides the most beautiful natural finish of any foundation I’ve ever tried.

It’s not high coverage, but it is buildable if you prefer more coverage. This might just be my new favorite foundation.

This award-winning lip balm is formulated with sugar, a humectant that prevents moisture loss, and meadowfoam, black currant, and grapeseed oils for moisture and softening.

Vitamin C and E are included for additional moisture, and beeswax protects the skin.

The balm comes in untinted and in various shades in satin and shimmer finishes.

Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 Nude Tinted is one of my favorites and has a peachy beige shimmer tint. The shimmer is very minimal, and the color is a beautiful natural shade.

Another favorite shade of this lip treatment is Rosé, a pretty flushed, muted rose shade.

Sephora Favorites for The Hair and Body

Olaplex Shampoo, Conditioner & Hair Perfector

I love all Olaplex products, especially Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and Olaplex No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner.

They work together to re-link broken disulfide bonds in the hair caused by a variety of stressors, such as chemical, thermal, and physical damage.

Olaplex products protect hair from split ends, frizz, and other damage. Breakage is reduced, and even flyways are improved. They are color-safe and suitable for all hair types.

You can add best-selling Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 to your hair care routine weekly as a concentrated treatment to address and strengthen damaged hair and improve hair health.

Apply the Perfector for 10 minutes before washing and conditioning your hair. It’s an extra step but really works to strengthen hair.

Olaplex Bond Maintenance System of products has been a favorite for the past few years and performs particularly well in warm, humid weather.

If you are looking for a body care product whose scent is strong enough to replace your daily fragrance, this one might be the one.

This body cream has a rich, addictive, warm, and spicy scent with salted caramel, pistachio, and vanilla notes.

The moisturizing cream is rich and absorbs quickly, leaving your skin supremely soft.

L’Occitane offers a small 1 oz size of this hand cream, but the large 5 oz tube is the best value.
