Olaplex is a haircare brand that is a savior for damaged, dry, and frizzy hair. It works to repair damaged hair leaving it soft, smooth, shiny, and healthy.

Olaplex is a best-selling haircare line for a reason. It simply works. Olaplex’s current at-home haircare line is a bit pricey, but for those who love it, it is worth every penny.

With Olaplex’s success, many other haircare brands have come out with bond building haircare products that target damaged hair like Olaplex. A few brands have some excellent Olaplex dupes that are priced very reasonably.

So today, we’ll take a look at 16 affordable Olaplex dupes for frizzy & damaged hair.

Keep in mind that Olaplex has patents on their technology, processes, and formulations, so these haircare products won’t be spot-on alternatives, or dupes.

However, they are still very effective options that won’t break the bank.

16 Affordable Olaplex Dupes For Frizzy & Damaged Hair

I’ve tested several haircare products to bring you the creme de la creme of Olaplex dupes.

In this section, we’ll discuss 16 exceptional products that promise to deliver the rejuvenating effects reminiscent of Olaplex, but with a friendlier price tag:

• Revolution Plex products from Revolution Haircare are formulated with a triple molecular weight protein cascade system. This means that the products work on the different layers of your hair fibers to repair damage and strengthen your hair.
• The system is formulated with three types of plant protein that work on different parts of the hair fiber for stronger hair.
• Phytantriol and provitamin B5 hydrate the hair while conditioning compounds soften and smooth your hair for more shine, less frizz, and healthier hair.

These Revolution Haircare hair products are suitable for all hair types, are free of SLS/SLES, and are cruelty-free and vegan. Please note there is added fragrance in these hair products.

The entire Revolution Haircare line is much more affordable than Olaplex. If you want to try four Revolution Haircare products as I did, you can get them in a discounted set on Revolution Beauty’s website.

Use this Olaplex 3 dupe one to two times per week for 10-15 minutes before shampooing and conditioning your hair. (You can also use it overnight if your hair is really parched and needs some extra TLC.)

This Olaplex shampoo dupe lathers well and smells great, too.

While it’s a much lighter weight formula than Olaplex, it leaves hair soft, smooth, and manageable without weighing my hair down.

It leaves your hair soft and smooth and helps reduce frizz.

Use this Olaplex 6 dupe on towel-dried clean hair and apply from mid-lengths to ends. Style as desired for a smooth and shiny but not stiff finish.

This Olaplex oil dupe combines concentrated pracaxi seed and babassu oils to soften, smooth, and strengthen hair fibers. It provides heat protection and helps reduce frizz and flyaways.

Carrot seed extract, carrot seed oil, and beta-carotene are rich in protective antioxidants that shield hair from environmental stress.

I agree with the 5-star ratings at Target. This affordable Olaplex bonding oil dupe is an excellent alternative to Olaplex No 7.

Revolution Haircare Bond Restore Products For Blonde Hair

Revolution Haircare also offers bond-restoring hair care products for blonde hair, including a bond restore treatment, shampoo (see below), conditioner, and styling cream.

This Olaplex dupe is a purple shampoo that neutralizes yellow and brassy hair tones.

The vegan formula contains Revolution’s Blonde Plex ingredients to repair hair while ensuring that hair stays cool and bright without unwanted warm tones.

The result? Softer, smoother, brighter, and healthier hair.

As an affordable alternative to Olaplex No.3, this fine spray mist hair treatment helps strengthen damaged hair bonds for softer, smoother, stronger hair with reduced frizz.

PCA (Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid) Bond Repair Hair Treatment is formulated with 10% Granrepair Powerbond that penetrates into the hair fiber to repair, strengthen and protect disulfide bonds from damage.

When you color and bleach your hair, damage occurs, causing your hair to become weaker and more fragile. L’Oreal EverPure Bond Strengthening Shampoo is an Olaplex shampoo dupe that helps rebuild the hair’s strength while nourishing and protecting it.

L’Oreal EverPure Bond Strengthening Conditioner repairs, strengthens and smooths hair with its lightweight formula.

The products are 100% sulfate-free and are also made without parabens, DMDM hydantoin, added phthalates, dye, and gluten ingredients.

They smell amazing with notes of White Tea, Cedar, Amber, Citrus, and Bergamot.

BLONDME’s Integrated Bonding Technology helps create new bonds and strengthens hair. This Olaplex dupe balances moisture levels and helps to detangle hair, making it easier to comb.

Hydrolyzed keratin smooths the surface for optimum shine and helps to reduce frizz and hair breakage.

This is an excellent alternative to Olaplex Conditioner. It really does smooth my hair and makes it more manageable and easier to comb and brush through.

The natural active ingredient in pH Plex is malic acid (sodium malate). Malic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid, a type of acid often used in skincare to exfoliate the skin.
