Pink, Rose and Wine Drugstore Blushes

Pink Rose Wine Blushes Drugstore Edition

Whenever I reach for a blush during my makeup routine, I usually prefer a powder blush in some shade of pink, whether it be bright pink, rose or a darker wine color. Today I thought I’d share some of my favorite pink, rose and wine blush picks from the drugstore. These blushes will give you a light hit of color, like your cheeks have been pinched or will provide a deeper glow for a more formal evening makeup look. All of this at drugstore prices!

Physicians Formula Palette Powder Blush in Blushing Berry

Physicians Formula Blushing Berry Multi-Colored Blush

Physicians Formula Palette Powder Blush in Blushing Berry’s mosaic of colors is simply fun to look at! It has a beautiful mix of light-medium-dark pinks and neutral beige to round out the soft color palette. It is made with Italian talc for a smooth application without irritating the skin or becoming streaky. This palette has the slightest bit of shimmer and goes on as a lovely light pink. I think it would work best for fair to medium skin tones. Included underneath the blush are a mirror and mini-brush.

Milani Baked Powder Blush in Dolce Pink

Milani Dolce Pink Baked Blush

Milani Baked Powder Blush in Dolce Pink is the first of two Milani Baked Blushes in this post. Each blush has been sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles that allow the blush to blend easily into your skin. This blush is the lighter color of the two and is a pale warm peachy pink with golden shimmery highlights. This highly pigmented blush includes a mini-brush and mirror under the blush palette.

Milani Baked Powder Blush in Red Vino

Milani Red Vino Baked Blush

Milani Baked Powder Blush in Red Vino is another Milani Baked Blush but in a much deeper shade. This blush is a wine color as the name suggests and has more veins of gold running through it than the less shimmery Dolce Pink blush. A little goes a long way with this blush and the secret is to have a very light application to start and then you can build the color if necessary. This blush includes a mini-brush and mirror under the blush palette.

Almay Pink Powder Blush

Almay Pink Powder Blush

Almay Pink Powder Blush stands out with not only its multi-color palette but also the cool stars design in the palette. The color range is very pretty from a pale peachy pink all the way to a deeper pink. Its lightweight formula applies very smoothly for a pretty natural radiance.

As an added bonus, you can get a darker pink look or a light pink look depending on which side of the palette that you use. Both are beautiful! This blush includes a mini-brush and mirror under the blush palette.

Maybelline FaceStudio Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit

Maybelline Facestudio Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit

FaceStudio Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit allows you to use each color alone or mix for a custom blend of gorgeous cheek colors. The palette includes three blushes and a highlighter. All shades of blush are in a weightless gel-based formula. A light peachy pink, a brighter pink, and deeper shimmery wine are complemented by the universally flattering highlighter.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Powder Blush Palette (Dark)

e.l.f. Cosmetics Powder Blush Palette - Dark

Four blushes are included in e.l.f. Cosmetics Powder Blush Palette (Dark). They are well suited for contouring, shading, sculpting, and highlighting. This palette has a mix of matte and shimmery finishes, so you have a variety of options. I love mixing the rose color with the darker colors that have more brown in them. This is lovely on my lighter skin tone, but I think this palette would be great for medium and darker skin tones since the colors are richer.

Burt’s Bees Blush with Vitamin E in Shy Pink

Burt's Bees Shy Pink Blush with Vitamin E

Burt’s Bees Blush with Vitamin E in Shy Pink is a 100% natural blush powder. Bamboo, Honey, and Vitamin E help this blush apply evenly and smoothly. It is ideal for fair or medium skin tones. I think this blush gives a really natural glow that applies smoothly without looking too shimmery. While I usually gravitate toward pinker blushes, the natural look of this blush has made it one of my favorites of the bunch!

Revlon Powder Blush in Very Berry

Would you recommend using blush powders or liquid blush? :)

I think it depends on the formulation, the shade range, and also your skin type. Liquid blush usually works well with dry skin and can provide some hydration, while powder blush may benefit those with oiler skin types. Really it comes down to personal preference. I like using both!
