Glossier Cloud Paint Dupes That Will Save You Money

Glossier Cloud Paint is a gel-cream blush that is an easy, effortless makeup product to use. A little bit glides on cheeks, blends easily, and stays put all day. As great as it is, it is on the pricey end and is only available at Glossier online or in their limited number of stores.

Glossier Cloud Paint Blush

Glossier Cloud Paint Blush in Puff

Glossier Cloud Paint is a sheer gel-cream blush that you can layer to achieve a stronger color payoff.

The blush contains blurring pigments to achieve a natural and subtle glow on your skin and won’t accentuate your pores or skin texture.

The blush is beloved for its easy, effortless application and blendable texture. You can simply blend the color with your fingers for a radiant finish.

The blush doesn’t look chalky or powdery and doesn’t leave streaks on your cheeks.

It’s perfect for those days when you don’t have much time to do your makeup and want a simple minimal makeup look.

Fragrance-free and cruelty-free.

Glossier Cloud Paint Blush Dupes

Since Glossier is a bit pricey, let’s take a look at some budget-friendly alternatives:

Maybelline Cheek Heat Sheer Gel-Cream Blush

Maybelline Cheek Heat Sheer Gel-Cream Blush

Maybelline Cheek Heat Sheer Gel-Cream Blush (shown above in Coral Ember) is probably the most affordable and easiest-to-find Glossier dupe and is my pick for the best Glossier dupe of the bunch.

This Allure Best of Beauty Award winner is a water-based gel-cream that comes in six natural-looking shades similar to Glossier Cloud Paint.

The oil-free cheek tint blush leaves a dewy lightweight finish on your cheeks. It is buildable, so you can layer more color for a dramatic look.

Like with Glossier, a little goes a long way with this blush dupe, so you only need to squeeze 1 to 2 dots onto your fingers per application.

The cream blush is quick and easy to apply by blending it with your fingers, making this great for on-the-go touchups.

Fragrance-free and oil-free.

Pacifica Cheeky Cherry Cheek Stain

Pacifica Cheeky Cherry Cheek Stain in Wild Cherry

Pacifica Cheeky Cherry Cheek Stain is a buildable liquid cheek stain that contains natural ingredients including sweet cherry, sappan bark extracts, and antioxidant vitamin E.

Sunflower seed oil gives it a hydrating and smooth feel on the skin.

Even though there are only three shades, Cherry Baby, Wild Cherry (shown above) & Sweet Cherry, this blush is formulated to work with a variety of skin tones.

The texture is thicker than Glossier, but it is rich in pigment. It provides a beautiful flush to the cheeks that lasts.

Please note that there is added fragrance in this cheek stain that has a light fruity scent.

Vegan and cruelty-free.

Flower Beauty Blush Bomb Color Drops for Cheeks

Flower Beauty Blush Bomb Color Drops for Cheeks in Bitten

Flower Beauty Blush Bomb Color Drops for Cheeks (shown above in Bitten) is an award-winning silky gel-cream blush that provides a flush of color to your cheeks.

Like Glossier, it comes in 8 shades, both neutral and brighter shades, for a lightweight natural dewy look. The shades are very similar to Glossier.

This gel-cream blush comes out of the tube with a very intense shade but lightens as it is blended. It is buildable but feels weightless on the skin.

The color lasts, and as it sets, it becomes a subtle stain on the cheeks.

These Flower Beauty blushes are gluten-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.

L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Blur Blush

L'Oreal Paris Visible Lift Blur Blush in Soft Berry

L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Blur Blush incorporates skincare into makeup, as these gel-cream blushes have anti-aging benefits and help erase the look of fine lines.

It uses L’Oreals’s Opti-Blur Technology to blur dullness and create a radiant, fresh finish.

This Glossier makeup dupe has sheer translucent color. It comes in three shades: Soft Pink, Soft Peach, and Soft Berry (shown above).

The shade I have, Soft Berry, comes out of the tube as a very bright pink. I was unsure how it would translate on my skin, but once blended creates a pretty rosy blush on the cheeks that you can blend for a natural look.

Gel-Cream Blush vs Powder Blush

The texture of a gel-cream blush provides a more lightweight, dewy, natural effect on the skin and is easily applied with your fingers.

It is ideal for those with dry skin as it is less likely to cake as you layer it and can be moisturizing on the skin.

Gel-cream blushes are also popular because they tend to be more long-lasting than powder blushes and typically fade evenly throughout the day without patchiness.

Gel-cream blushes come in liquid, cream, or gel textures. (Cream blushes are often packaged in compacts or easy-to-use sticks.)

Powder blushes provide a more matte finish. They are versatile since they can be used on top of cream blush or even as a bronzer.

Powder blushes are perfect for combination and oily skin types as they can help absorb excess oil on the skin.

Powder blushes pill if you have creases in your skin from dry patches or wrinkles. They can also be a bit too powdery and may look cakey if you don’t use a light hand.

Powder blushes come in the form of pressed, loose powder or mineral powder and are best applied with a makeup brush.

Which is better gel-cream blush or powder blush? Both have their own advantages depending on your preference or skin type. It is important to try both and see which you like better.

The good news is there are many drugstore blush dupes of these products that provide the same great results for a fraction of the price of Glossier Cloud Paint.

These gel-cream blushes are perfect for dry skin or anyone looking for a lightweight, sheer, natural-looking wash of color on their cheeks.
